Red Cliff Sauvignon Blanc (2004)-New Zealand- A grassy nose and a tart, fragrant "tang" led to a refreshing and pleasant finish. Routas Rose- (2004)-A drier style French rose that complimented the summer fare. Terra Do Gargalo (2003)-Sturdy Spanish white paired to go with the "famous" Rhode Island clam chowder and the chilled broccoli soup. Crios De Susana Balbo (2003)-Dry white from Argentina with the taste of white peaches. Matched to the salad course. Prospero Orange Muscat (2003)-A more mellow wine that paired nicely with the fruit salad. Dante Zinfandel (2002.)-A bold red California wine selected for the pasta with red sauce. |
D'Arenberg Footbolt Shiraz (2002)-Massive red well suited for either the pasta or beef. Stump Jump (2003)-Flavorful Australian red wine produced from grenache, shiraz and mourvedre vines that matched the beef on the "barby". Angeline Pinot Noir (2002.)-A smooth and polished sipping red that went well with the beef. Hahn Chardonnay (2003)-A pleasant oaky chardonnay that went well with the Cajun swordfish. Doghouse Chardonnay (2004)-A California softer white with a touch of fruitiness that definitely wasn't in the doghouse! Fendi di San Gregorio Falanghina (2004)-Did you smell bananas? This Italian wine worked well with the curried chicken. Ramos Pinto Reserva (N.V.)-Full bodied and flavorful, this port went well with the chocolate desserts. Duck Walk Blueberry Port (2003)-Maine blueberries and chocolate. It made for a great combination. |
